The HP715Ex IIA is Hytera's new generation intrinsically safe portable DMR two-way radio, featuring a safe design, robust housing and advanced ergonomics.
It provides clear and loud voice quality, extended working hours, and long-distance communication capabilities. Certified with IECEx/ATEX, the HP715Ex IIA is a radio to keep the workers connected in hazardous environments without causing a fire or explosion, providing reliable safe communication for industries such as oil and gas, fire rescue, airports, manufacturing, and more.

It provides clear and loud voice quality, extended working hours, and long-distance communication capabilities. It complies with strict explosion protection standards and has international IECEx and European ATEX certifications. This design provides reliable safe communication for industries such as oil and gas, fire rescue, airports, manufacturing, and more.
It comes in two variants with hazard level IIA or IIC for the gas group, so that the optimal device is available depending on the type of gas in the atmosphere:
HP715Ex IIA
• low ATEX gas group: IIA (e.g. Propane)
• temperature range in explosion-prone areas: -25°C to +60°C
• high transmit RF power: UHF 4W / VHF 5W
If a higher gas group rating is required, select the alternative model HP715Ex IIC
• high ATEX gas group: IIC (e.g. Acetylene, Hydrogen)
• temperature range in explosion-prone areas: -25°C to +50°C
• lower transmit RF power: 2W/1W
