HR Manager - Pulheim, Germany

We are now recruiting for a HR Manager to join the team - salary is competitive - to be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

The German office is in Pulheim, and the candidate will be required to work out of there full time.

What you need to apply

  • Full scope of HR duties and responsibilities (operational and strategic level) – talent management, organisation design/succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and training & development
  • Develop strong professional relationships with all internal stakeholders to support key business objectives
  • Work in conjunction with HQ HR to drive the European business unit
  • Plan and execute effective recruitment campaigns and successfully onboard new team members
  • Undertaking HR administrative tasks (including, but not limited to – payroll, employment agreements and benefit administration); in parallel with HR strategic/higher level operational planning
  • Write HR policies and procedures in line with local labour law
  • Keep up to date/advanced knowledge of local labour law
  • Present HR topics and end of year business reports to local management team and HQ Senior Level Team

Person Specification

  • Fluent German and good English language skills are both essential
  • Human Resource Management academic/professional qualification
  • Experience of working as the sole HR expert or a small HR team environment
  • People focused and a can-do mind set
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and adapt/plan accordingly
  • Strong knowledge of local labour law
  • Experience of working with multi-region employees beneficial – particularly other European countries and local labour law
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge the status quo
  • Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside the strategic tasks that this role will dictate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous line management experience is desirable

Head of Product Management - Slough, United Kingdom

The Head of Product Management is a key role for the team - managing the release of new products into the European market. The post will manage an established team of product managers.

  • Lead the product management department for the local subsidiary
  • Formulating and driving roll-out plans for new products, as well as features and function updates for Hytera products and services and managing the product lifecycle.
  • Releasing new products into the European market using the NPI (New product introduction process)
  • ­Product and technical lead for the production of all necessary marketing collateral, presentations, web content, sales tools, data sheets, brochures, training materials and other literature.
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to produce and maintain the local pricebooks.
  • Building the technical capability of the Team
  • Travel within Europe - roadshows, industry events participation

What you need to apply

  • Good knowledge of PMR (Private Mobile Radio), POC (Push To Talk Over Cellular)
  • Related qualification such as - HNC/HND and/or degree in electronic engineering discipline or equivalent level of experience
  • Good presentation skills/ experience of training internal and external stakeholders
  • A good understanding of pricing strategies and market development techniques advantageous
  • Previous experience managing a team

Channel Sales Manager – Eastern Europe Regions

The opportunity

We are looking for candidates who are based in Romania or surrounding countries - e.g. Hungary, Bulgaria. The role will focus on sales activities for our Hytera portfolio of products in our East Europe region.

Here is a summary of the key areas of responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the Eastern European region.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage a network of authorized resellers and distributors, ensuring their alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to channel partners, assisting them in achieving sales goals and enhancing their product knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders in the two-way radio industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective channel marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
  • Monitor sales performance, track market trends, and produce regular sales reports for management review.
  • Negotiate and finalize channel partner agreements, ensuring terms are in line with company policies and objectives.
  • Drive demand generation initiatives, including product training, workshops, and seminars for channel partners and end-users.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.
  • Serving as a Company representative at major industry events, conferences, tradeshows, and tender bidding processes

What you need to apply

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent level of work experience;
  • Proven track record of successful channel sales management, ideally within the two-way radio or communication technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of Eastern European market dynamics, cultures, and business practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Self-driven with a result-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The role will focus on providing technical assistance to key partners in the support of Hytera’s product portfolio including pre-sales demonstrations, pre-sales (preparing quotations and technical responses to bids and tenders), post sales (technical support) and technical training to our partners.

The RF based technologies in the portfolio include Analogue, DMR, TETRA, LTE and POC terminals and IP and Tier III systems. Our industry and our company are fast moving, and you can be sure that you will always have room to learn and grow.

What you need to apply

This is a very practical, hands-on role, strong technical skills with a commercial focus are essential to this role – additionally, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience and knowledge of Hytera RF products and applications or industry equivalent RF systems experience
  • Background in the design, deployment, and installation of PMR products (Analogue, DMR, LTE or TETRA) for either public safety or commercial users
  • Experience in a technical support role in a commercial/B2B environment through working within in a hi-tech product development organisation with sales partners
  • HNC/HND and/or degree in electronic engineering discipline or equivalent level of experience
  • Understanding of fundamental principles of RF
  • Understanding of communications protocols (e.g., TCP), the Internet, routers, firewalls and proxy servers is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of DMR protocols including air interface, TDMA 2 slot applications for Tier I, II and III and TETRA 4 slot.
  • Strong analytical ability with a consistent and methodical approach able to identify trends and common issues.
  • Strong knowledge of RF analogue and digital Tier III systems and terminals.
  • Willingness to travel in Europe – the role will include travel
