Embarking on the 14th IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Italy

The IDBF Club Crew World Championships, jointly organized by The International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) and the Federazione Italiana Dragon Boat (FIDB), will be held at Standiana Regatta Course, Circolo Canottieri Ravenna, Italy from 3rd to 8th September 2024. The outstanding Hytera Dragon Boat Team will embark on this journey, showcasing speed and passion on the water alongside participants from around the world.

The International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) was formed in 1991, and since then, the sport has experienced rapid global growth. Dragon Boat Sport, under its governing bodies, is a vibrant, effective and independent paddle sport. Today, 30 years after its modern development, the sport continues to attract participants from around the world.

Braving the Rapids, Hytera Achieves Outstanding Performance

In May, the 2024 Hong Kong Shallow Bay Seaside Dragon Boat Race, organized by the Hong Kong Kowloon New Territories Small Dragon Race Organizing Committee, was held off the coast of Repulse Bay, Hong Kong. Nearly 100 teams competed fiercely, and Hytera Dragon Boat Team achieved an impressive record of 2 championships and 1 third place.

In early June, the 2024 Sha Tin Dragon Boat Race, organized by the Sha Tin Sports Association, was held grandly at the Shing Mun River in Hong Kong. The competition attracted over 100 teams, with a total of 28 races held. The event was spectacular, with colorful dragon boats lined up like a long dragon, accompanied by cheers and the sound of drums and gongs. The Hytera Dragon Boat Team paddled vigorously and strove for victory, ultimately winning 3 championships, 2 second places, and 1 third place.

In mid-June, the Hytera Dragon Boat Team participated in the Hong Kong Eastern International Dragon Boat Invitation Tournament and ranked fourth in the international women's silver cup race.

Working together in unison, the team fully demonstrates dragon boat race’s spirit also Hytera’s team spirit and achieves noticeable results. We are confident that the Hytera Dragon Boat Team will excel in the 14th IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Italy.
