The project
Queensway Dental is a regional private dentistry practice located across the North East of England. They specialise in a range of dental services and have a proud history of helping patients for over 25 years.
Eemits Communications, an authorised dealer of Hytera radios and Hytera hardware has been working exclusively with the practice on a regional basis to create a reliable solution.
The challenge
Queensway Dental wanted to reduce wait time and enhance patient experience but had a system in place where reception and dental staff would communicate by phone or face-to-face.
This would cause delays as staff would rely on the phone being answered or they’d have to walk on foot to speak with the relevant person.
Looking for a new solution, they wanted something that would offer instant, reliable communication - where they didn’t have to waste time trying to find the right person. It also needed to be cost-effective, and discreet to protect practice-to-patient confidentiality.
The solution
The practice opted for the Hytera PD365 device as it’s compact in size – so can be easily carried – has good voice clarity, and operates on secure, licenced frequencies.
To protect patient confidentiality even further, they opted for the use of c-shaped and d-shaped earpieces.
The result
Queensway Dental now has a more efficient solution in place across all its practices. One that reduces wait times, enhances patient experience, and improves internal processes.
Dental nurses also rotate around the practices by using their own earpieces with available Hytera PD365 radios.
This means the business is always able to have the right staff available to give their patients the best service possible.
