Thanks to multiple protection mechanisms such as over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection, the Smart Charger allows unattended charging of the battery, which greatly reduces labor costs.

Can only be used if the radio is equipped with the BP4011 battery. The alternative BP4010 has no electrical contacts on the outside and therefore cannot be charged with desktop chargers.
