  • Accountant - Germany

    JOB POSITION

    The Opportunity:

    We are expanding our Finance team here at Hytera Communications Europe. We are recruiting a new Accountant position in Germany to start in the New Year. This is an office based role the Cologne area - Pulheim.

    Here are some of the key responsibilities that apply:

    • Manage and prepare all financial reporting requirements (including statutory) for German business
    • The above will include but not limited to preparation and submission of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and forecasting
    • Manage the cash/working capital planning day to day
    • Support internal financial controls and prepare and support the annual audit, liaising and meeting the requirements of external auditor partners
    • Support annual budget process
    • General financial responsibilities – such as VAT reconciliation
    • Managing Ages Debtor Report and associated duties
    • Provide cover for transactional financial tasks – billing, invoices, accounts receivable, fixed assets register maintenance etc
    • Any other reasonable and relevant duties and responsibilities within the scope of the role

    What you need to apply:

    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountancy qualification and/or other equivalent level academic/professional qualification (or by experience)
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in accounting in Germany
    • Fluent in German
    • A good level of spoken and written English language (C1/C2)
    • Excellent working knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts or advanced level of other ERP software
    • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.
    • Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside accounting reporting

  • HR Manager - Pulheim, Germany

    JOB POSITION

    We are now recruiting for a HR Manager to join the team - salary is competitive - to be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

    The German office is in Pulheim, and the candidate will be required to work out of there full time.

    What you need to apply

    • Full scope of HR duties and responsibilities (operational and strategic level) – talent management, organisation design/succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and training & development
    • Develop strong professional relationships with all internal stakeholders to support key business objectives
    • Work in conjunction with HQ HR to drive the European business unit
    • Plan and execute effective recruitment campaigns and successfully onboard new team members

    Person Specification

    We are now recruiting for a Sales Manager (Channel Sales) with PMR industry experience to grow and expand the existing team in the DACH region. The role will focus on sales activities for our Hytera portfolio of products.

    • Identify, onboard, and manage a network of authorized resellers and distributors, ensuring their alignment with company objectives.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share
    • Provide guidance and support to channel partners, assisting them in achieving sales goals and enhancing their product knowledge.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders in the two-way radio industry.
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective channel marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.

    JOB POSITION

    The role will focus on providing technical assistance to key partners in the support of Hytera’s product portfolio including pre-sales demonstrations, pre-sales (preparing quotations and technical responses to bids and tenders), post sales (technical support) and technical training to our partners.

    The RF based technologies in the portfolio include Analogue, DMR, TETRA, LTE and POC terminals and IP and Tier III systems. Our industry and our company are fast moving, and you can be sure that you will always have room to learn and grow.

    What you need to apply

    This is a very practical, hands-on role, strong technical skills with a commercial focus are essential to this role – additionally, the ideal candidate will have:

    • Significant experience and knowledge of Hytera RF products and applications or industry equivalent RF systems experience
    • Background in the design, deployment, and installation of PMR products (Analogue, DMR, LTE or TETRA) for either public safety or commercial users
    • Experience in a technical support role in a commercial/B2B environment through working within in a hi-tech product development organisation with sales partners
    • HNC/HND and/or degree in electronic engineering discipline or equivalent level of experience
    • Understanding of fundamental principles of RF
    • Understanding of communications protocols (e.g., TCP), the Internet, routers, firewalls and proxy servers is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of DMR protocols including air interface, TDMA 2 slot applications for Tier I, II and III and TETRA 4 slot.
    • Strong analytical ability with a consistent and methodical approach able to identify trends and common issues.
